My passion is to enhance and supplement the skills you already have and bring you to the level you want to be. The skills I tutor in English, theater, and voice will complement what your teachers have taught you in school, correct any miscommunications, and further your knowledge and skill in each area. I am a professional opera singer so my skills in these areas are at an expert level. I also volunteer as an editor of Masters student's papers at Southern Methodist University.
My tutoring style is laid back, yet persistent. You're not going to be stressed, but you're going to get your work done and on time. My time management techniques are exquisite so figuring out what you need help on, how long it will take you to get to the appropriate level, and making a plan to get you there on time is my forte. You are in good hands with me. I can help you sing jazz/musical theater/opera/pop, cook an amazing Thanksgiving dinner or tea party for a dozen guests, act for your middle school or Broadway production, fix grammar mistakes on your reports, and edit your Masters papers. Along the way we will work on what is holding you back, what techniques need to be enhanced/changed/taught, and refining what you've learned.
