I am an experienced teacher that loves to help students obtain success through tutoring. I am a retired teacher, so I have the time to dedicate and help students in the areas that they need help in. I have experience in helping and tutoring students in pre-K through sixth grades. Once I find out the area where the student needs help, then I do an assessment test for that area. I then gather learning material for the student in the area that help is needed in. I make short term and long terms goals for the student to reach. The short term goals are checked at intervals to make sure that progress is made at the time it is scheduled for. I then make a schedule of regular times for tutoring sessions with the student with the parents' approval. Most school students schedule times in the afternoons, evenings and on Saturdays. If the schedule is followed in a timely manner and short term goals are met, then one can look for success in the area of weakness. Long term goals are assessed and also met. I look forward to helping and working with students to be successful in reaching their goals.
