Hello!

My name is Ryan and I am a math teacher at Clear Brook High School. I have taught math for 5 years, and have tutored many high school and college level math students. I actually tutor math daily to all the kids who end up in ISS, or in school suspension at Brook. I have taught Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, AP Stats, and Pre-Calculus. I also coach volleyball and baseball, because I enjoy seeing the success that students can have while playing sports that they love. I love to teach, and I love math!

As a teacher, I like to use technology as much as possible. I can use multiple programs and methods to help illustrate concepts. I have had a lot of success working with students because I am organized and work one on one with all of my students. I feel like I am more able to help them when I can find out more about their learning style. Every learner is different! It takes communication and a relaxed atmosphere that opens up the mind for successful learning. I promise that I will do everything that I can to create a positive learning atmosphere and do all that I can to reach the math success that we both want!

Spanish

In college, I majored in math education and was two classes away from minoring in Spanish Education. I lived in Argentina for two years, and I loved it! I can read, write, speak and perform translation services in Spanish. Please consider me for any tutoring. I won't let you down!

SAT Math

I have tutored so many kids while being a math teacher. I also have tutored college kids as well, while I was in college. I have taken, and scored high on, many major tests, like: the ACT, SAT, GRE, and the Praxis. I have also taken the math teaching certification exams.
