Hello! My name is Hannah and I am so excited about your interest in using me as a tutor. I have a strong passion to walk along side students who want to grow in knowledge and succeed in their studies. I have a bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Liberty University where I gained a large amount of experience as a tutor. In the past, I have tutored English as a Second Language with the English Language Institute at Liberty, where two of my students graduated from the instate and one went on to join an undergrad program. I also served as an ESL tutor and instructor for 2 1/2 months at a university in Dhaka, Bangladesh where conducted English classes and use office hours as time to encourage my students in English and tutor them as well. Finally, I was a tutor for a year for Liberty University's athletic Department where I tutored students in English and Spanish.

All of these experiences have given me the opportunity to work with many people of different backgrounds and learning styles, which has shaped the methods that I use during my tutoring sessions. As a tutor, I have a student-centered method of teaching. This means that I get to know the student's needs and learning styles and conduct my lessons based on what is best for the student. It is my goal to help my students know more than just facts, but to really understand and be able to apply what they are learning on their own in order to succeed.

As a tutor, my students will know that they are cared for and that I will do everything I can to walk along side them and guide them in achieving their goals. I am looking forward to working with you!
