Hi!

I'm an experienced, engaging, and reliable tutor available to assist your child in whatever he or she may need help with.

As a PhD student in the English department at TCU, my specialty lies with the English language and especially writing: essays, reading, editing, literature, etc.

In addition, I also have extensive experience tutoring in test prep: SAT, ACT, GRE, SSAT, PSAT, and more. I have tutored and/or taught for a number of leading companies--Kaplan, Revolution Prep, The Princeton Review--as far away as China and as near as Fort Worth.

I'm also able to assist your child in more general academic knowledge: algebra and geometry, history, government, sociology, science and of course anything writing-related.

As a tutor I like to work closely alongside students to ensure they have learned the material. Mixing in innovative strategies with an engaging personality allows me to interact with students beyond a merely scholastic level. I conduct sessions in half-hour increments and am able to meet in-home or at a library, depending on your preference.
