Upon graduation from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, I worked in Nagaoka, Japan for three years as a participant in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. I achieved Level 3 Proficiency on the Japanese Proficiency Language Test, JPLT certification exam, and am continuing my own study to pass the next level. My love for the Japanese language and its people has never waned. I truly enjoy everything about Japan and am eager to assist with your learning goals.

I have been an avid swimmer my entire life. I was a member of 2 teams in high school, and earned the right to represent my state as a member of 2 national teams. I especially enjoy teaching beginners and assisting them in alleviating their fear of the water. I believe everyone should learn to swim.
