I'm a mother of 7 sons. I have been home educating my sons for 23 years. Some needed math manipulatives and others needed to practice counting sequences. Four of my sons have been given diplomas at home and two of those have college degrees. My high school and college electives included Spanish, German, Accounting, Senior Grammar, Sign Language, Dorothy Shaw Hand Bell Choir, and extra math and science courses. While at Tarrant County College, I was paid to tutor a math student and have assisted other students with math. Beyond college I have studied square dancing and ballet. I studied World History in chronological order and basic Latin and Greek root words to teach my sons. I have attended Texas Wesleyan annual free law school day a few times. For several years I have worked as a clerk or election judge in Tarrant County and have attended many training courses for the elections. I am an appointed election judge for the City of Forest Hill, but this job is only active on the rare election days. I am currently in my hand bell choir alumni group and am memorizing music again. For over six years, I worked for Greenway Enterprises, Inc. as a secretary/bookkeeper until I had my first son. Currently, my husband and I are teaching a review of basic square dance lessons and we participate in an advanced dance group. I have assisted a blind woman with shopping for more than 20 years.
