Hello,

I am a retired teacher for the developmentally disabled. I was initially in a classroom setting where I was responsible for teaching daily living skills and elementary level academics to developmentally disabled 'adults'. I have also tutored college students with learning disabilities through the Office for Disabilities at a community college in Florida.

I also volunteered in the classroom when my son was in elementary and middle school.

I have a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL.

I am gregarious and find helping others most rewarding. I am very approachable, warm and humorous and would describe my 'teaching style' as relaxed, positive and effective.

I am looking forward to tutoring as a way of 'giving back' to my community.
