Welcome parents and students,
My name is Jeremiah and I have been teaching middle school math for the past four years. My certification consists of mathematics 4-8 with a specialty in working with low performing students.
At the beginning of 2010-2011 school year, I inherited students with a 0% passing rate and on the spring 2011 TAKS assessment more than 50% of the students met standard. More importantly, 95% of the students showed considerable progress.
I have tutored math privately for the past seven years working with students ranging from ages 9 to 27. Students enjoy working with me due to my knowledge, patience, creativity, and passion.
Let's face it, we all have strengths and weaknesses. I intend to make math a strength for tutees by relating the subject matter to real world experiences and explaining the why behind the how. I welcome the challenge of making math a strength for all tutees.
