After graduating from Beecher High School in Flint, Michigan, I served 3 years in the US Army as a telephone switchboard repairer. I went on to Michigan State University, where I obtained a BA in communications and Masters Degrees in Curriculum and Teaching and a second Masters Degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations, in 2009.
I have worked as a Substitute Teacher for 3 years and as the Information Technology Instructor at Flint Genesee Job Corps for 4 years. I have worked in the Community Corrections field in Michigan for close to 13 years.
I moved to Denton, Texas in March of 2010 and I have worked as a Recruiter and as a HR Specialist in Frisco. Recently, I volunteered for the Denton Black Chanmber of Commerce at the 2012 Blues Festival and at the 2012 Taste of The Blues.
Subjects I mastered in school were English, grammar, math and science.
