Originally from China, I am currently a graduate student at the University of North Texas studying Political Science. I majored in English as an undergraduate in China. I tutored Chinese students in English throughout my time in college. Therefore, I deeply understand how hard a language learner struggles when they come to face a new language. When I started learning English, I faced many difficulties, and I resolved to achieve my goal of being an advanced English speaker. Now I have made it, and I have excelled in my English learning!
All languages are alike in that the memorization of vocabulary, grammar, slang, the understanding of another culture, and the sheer determination to keep pressing on are all demanded of the student. But, you are not alone. I have been where you are. I am here to help you out and guide you through the challenges. I believe, with the skills that I have used to help myself, as well as others, I will be able to become a great tutor for American Chinese learners.
