Hello, my name is Alicia! I have tutored for as long as I can remember, and I love being able to help others find passion in learning. I am majoring in physics, psychology, and Spanish, with a minor in math. I also have taken multiple courses on photography and have experience working as a freelance photographer. I look forward to the chance to get to help you learn and hope to make the experience an enjoyable one. I am the president of UNT's Society of Physics Students and a student ambassador for the College of Arts and Sciences. Physics

I am an upper level Physics major at UNT, currently taking my last courses for my degree. I specialize in quantum mechanics and nano-technology. I often work as a grader for the lower level physics courses, so the material is still very fresh for me!

Psychology

I am a Psychology major at UNT, and have completed all but my senior thesis in order to get my degree. I am most fascinated with abnormal psychology and psychopathy. I am more than capable of tutoring any of the more general courses, but if your course is highly specialized be sure and give me the details up front so I know if I can be of help.

SAT Math

I was awarded a National Merit Scholarship, a very prestigious and competitive award. I can tutor in any of the SAT subjects, I just prefer math. Feel free to ask me any questions!

Adobe Photoshop

I have taken 12 hours of course work in photography, including some focus on use of Photoshop. I have been working as a freelance photographer for 5 years now and do all of my own retouching. As with my photography, you are more than welcome to request a portfolio or sample of my work.

ACT Math

I scored a 34 on the ACT, and though that was 5 years ago I still am very knowledgeable on the subject matter. If you have any questions please ask!

Differential Equations

I have successfully taken a course on non-linear differential equations and use this branch of mathematics almost daily in my physics work.

Photography

I have taken 12 hours of course work in photography and related fields. I have been working as a freelance photographer for 5 years now and do all of my own retouching. I have also worked in a dark room developing my own film. I work in both color and black and white. I welcome any requests to review my work before you agree to learn from me, as I feel that is the best way to judge the level of your teacher's competency in this field.

Linear Algebra

As per my degree requirements I have taken a basic linear algebra course, and I am completing my math minor with an advanced course in the subject.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
