I am about to start my fourth year of PhD (Economics) at SMU. I was trained in English from the age of four, and have considerable grasp over all the three subjects of Math, Economics and English. My major in college was in Economics as well, and I have earned two Master's degrees in the same subject, one in my home country, India, and the other here at SMU.
All through my academic career, my medium of communication has been English. I have tutored students of almost all levels: primary and secondary schools, undergraduates, and Master's, and have remained a Teaching Assistant at the Econ Dept (SMU) for the past three years. Hence, communicating with a student for any of the above mentioned three subjects is a part of my job. I have enjoyed the process of teaching since my college days, and find that I naturally get along with almost every age group quite easily.
