My Masters program utilized concepts of Accounting and the CFA Program as well. I am proficient in both Financial and Managerial Accounting.
I have long considered myself to be strong with numbers and this applies to Algebra as it is the foundation of many of the more advanced subjects in which I have trained. I have used Algebra consistently through my academic and professional career, and continue to do so even in my current job.
I am a graduate of the Vlerick Business School and am a practicing financial trader. Previously I worked in a corporate finance role, working on both finance and general business projects and was able to significantly impact the company’s bottom-line. I enjoy reading about various business concepts in my free time and seek to begin my own business one day.
I have cleared the Level 1 exam of the CFA program while achieving marks in the upper 70th percentile in 8 of 10 exam topics. Currently I am working in a profession that utilizes many CFA exam subjects daily, and I plan on completing the Program in the future.
Economic principles are strongly linked with Finance which is the subject of my degrees and my profession. My CFA studies have thoroughly covered many Economics concepts, as well as me having read many books on Economics for recreation.
Finance was my major for both undergraduate and graduate schools, as well as the field of my profession for half a decade now. I have experience working in both corporate finance and financial markets, and generally have loved my experience in the field.
German was my minor in university and I still keep my German language skills usable by partaking in online courses and reading German language publications. I am proficient in my grammar and syntax.
I have used Excel on a daily basis since about my junior year of university. I am proficient in most formulae and I even know just a bit with VBA and Macros. I have never had a problem with getting Excel to do exactly what I wanted, and I ask much of Excel.
I worked with SQL daily for two years in my previous job and was considered the resident SQL wizard in my office. I basically taught myself the program and still consider myself proficient.
