My name is Cliff P., and I am a communications professional with 28 years of experience in the diverse field of communications, including in radio, TV news, print news, public/media relations, political campaign management, blogging, and Web site administration.
For your needs, I offer tutoring in all forms of high school, college/university, and professional communications, including but not limited to: English, grammar, literature, reading (including SAT reading), proofreading, and public speaking, and MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
Additionally, I also do speech forensics coaching, media relations assistance (press release writing and editing, preparation for media interviews, etc.), organizational communications auditing, report writing and preparation, small group dynamics, audience analysis, writing, grammar, proofreading, etc.
And finally, I tutor high school core curriculum as well, namely American History, and Government.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from the University of Texas at Tyler, in Tyler, TX. My minor was sociology. I have 60 hours in communications, 9 hours in journalism, 9 hours of graduate credit in communications, and 54 hours in sociology. Before attending college at UT-Tyler, I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Theater from Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, where I attended on the Brady P. Gentry Performance Scholarship in Acting.
Besides my long career in communications, I have served as a judge for high school and middle school UIL speech and forensics competitions.
