Hi!
My name is Allison, and I am a substitute teacher. I work with students of all ages ranging from preschool to seniors in high school. I enjoy helping students learn and grow academically as well as personally. My approach in teaching and tutoring is very "hands-on." Each student has a different learning style, so I focus on how each student learns best. I want to help identify the struggles each student has to help that student succeed. Each student has talents, gifts, and struggles that are unique. There are no two students that are just alike, so I build a tutoring relationship that uniquely fits the needs for that student.
I attended LeTourneau University where I majored in psychology. I am currently attending Dallas Seminary where I will receive my master's degree in counseling in a few months. As a counselor, I believe the way a student approaches school work directly impacts the outcome of the student's ability to succeed. My goal is to help students overcome difficulties in school and begin to enjoy the lifelong adventure of learning!
I look forward to meeting you and learning with you!
