I have a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, over 20 years of experience as a graphic arts professional, and currently teach graphic design at a Dallas area university. I am an expert at many software programs, including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, AfterEffects, and Flash. I can teach you how to use these programs and how to design for print, web, and motion graphics applications. I enjoy helping others learn and grow!

Adobe Photoshop

I have been using Adobe Photoshop since it was first released in the early 1990s. I use it almost daily in my professional work to design art for print and web usage and to re-touch photos.

Adobe Illustrator

I have been using Adobe Illustrator since it was first released around 1990. I use it almost daily in my professional work as a graphic designer. I use it to create illustrations and do custom typography.

Adobe Flash

I have an MFA in Graphic Design which required me to be proficient in Flash and do projects using that software. Upon request I can send you a transcript of my coursework and grades.

Adobe InDesign

I have an MFA in Graphic Design which required me to be proficient in InDesign and do projects using that software. I have been using InDesign since it was first released in 2005. I use InDesign to design and layout books, catalogs, and marketing/advertising materials.

Dreamweaver

I am a professional graphic designer for both print and web. I can design web pages and elements and use Dreamweaver to build the sites. I primarily use CSS in Dreamweaver but am handy with basic HTML/XHTML coding.

Macintosh

I have been using a Macintosh computer since the late 1980s. I am a graphic arts professional and have been using the Mac and its software for over 20 years.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
