I have worked as a private tutor for several years with both general education and AP students in Highland Park. More recently, I tutored an international law student at SMU on essay writing.
I am highly proficient in English grammar, literature, and writing. I also have an avid interest in American history, government, and political science, having taken many courses in these disciplines in college.
I feel called to serve students with special needs and learning differences--especially students diagnosed on the autism spectrum--both lower and higher functioning. I am patient, caring, dependable, respectful, and consistent. I empower students to achieve their IEP and personal goals to be successful and more independent.
