Hello, all! My name is Syrlane A. I am from Brazil, but I have been in the US since 2003. I pursued my Bachelor's in Arts/Theory of Composition at Dallas Baptist University, and now I am about to graduate and get my Master's in Music Composition at Southwest Methodist University.

I love teaching music theory, composition, aural skills and piano. I have teaching experience in all of these areas because I was an active tutor at my universities. My ultimate goal is to have my own music composition studio, to encourage students to be successful composers, and to give back to the community through music.
