Hi, my name is Clay G. and I am currently an elementary school teacher, teaching in the Dallas Metroplex for the past seven years. Besides my teaching, ESL, and principal certification, I hold two Master's degrees in Education. I would be happy to assist you in helping your child reach his/her full potential through my tutoring services in elementary reading, math, science, and/or social studies. Besides my general classroom experience, I also have experience teaching and working with a diversity of student populations, leading professional developments with school staff, and working with children with a full array of learning disabilities.

Your child's first session with me will consist of meeting and greeting each other as well as conducting an assessment to find out where your child is at the present time and to determine what type of program will be most beneficial in meeting your child's needs. Once the assessment is complete, I will then personalize a program to meet your child's individual needs based upon my assessment and upon your thoughts and wishes as the parent / guardian. I will be happy to work with your child on the existing school curriculum as well as creating my own personalized program to help your child learn the material and experience success! The resources that I use I consider "the best of the best." I have taken what I have found to be the most effective resources that I have personally researched or used in the classroom and tutoring to create a dynamic, very successful, and proven curriculum.

One of my main focuses is preparing your child for the STAAR exam. I have a full array of techniques that will assist your child in preparing them for success. I have successfully tutored several 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who have done exceptionally well!

Elementary (K-6th)

As an elementary educator and tutor, I have tutored many hours with the TAKS and STAAR exam. I can teach your child how to really read and find what the question is asking, how to eliminate potential answers and ultimately solve the problem correctly. With reading comprehension, I can teach your child the different literary structures and how the test asks these questions.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
