First and foremost, I am a teacher that always finds a way to connect to each individual's way of thinking, always striving to find the words of explanation that make a concept click for them. I have experience as a statistics lecturer at Ohio State, and also as a working statistician in the industry. I love helping people "see the light" so that statistics is understandable and not intimidating. I consistently receive positive feedback on my ability to teach statistics.
I am a statistical tutor and consultant to Executive MBA and PhD candidates with a successful track record of bridging the gap to a better grasp of statistical theory and how it is applied, walking clients through the necessary steps to complete their projects through their own understanding.
Undergraduate classes I have taken: Calculus, Discrete Math, Applied Statistics, Probability, Mathematical Statistics, Combinatorics, Conjecture and Proof, Real Analysis I and II.
Graduate level classes I have taken: Principals of Math Analysis, Teaching Statistics, Statistical Theory I,II,III, Monte Carlo Techniques, Stochastic Processes, Multivariate Analysis, Survey Sampling Methods, Analysis of Variance, Design and Analysis of Experiments, Discrete Data Analysis, Order Statistics, Statistical Practice I,II,III, Statistical Consulting
Other than my love for numbers, patterns and theories, I am an extrovert with a love for music, including classical, jazz, and funk. I play drums semi-professionally and also give drum lessons.
