I am a native Texan. I graduated from University of Texas at Arlington in 2001 with a degree in Sociology/Business. I completed the Texas Educator’s certification in the area of Early Childhood Education (kindergarten through fourth grade). I am enrolled in the Master's Program (Educational Administration-M.Ed.) at Concordia University Texas. My degree will be conferred in August of 2013. I’ve worked as a professional educator in both the public and private sector. I served as the educational consultant for the staff/students of Bibles Time Preparatory.
I have an array of financial experience and applied knowledge. My professional background consists of designations as a mutual fund/stock trader, financial analyst, banking services counselor with Fidelity Investments and SunTrust Bank, Atlanta, Georgia. I earned numerous awards along with having the opportunity to meet with Edward C. Johnson, III, and founder of Fidelity Investments.
I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a board member with the Turnkey Boys and Girls Club of Dallas, Texas. I am an active member of the Junior League of Dallas and currently serve on the Educational Committee. I seek to exercise my talents and abilities to profoundly impact the lives of each person I am privileged to encounter. My passion is to educate, empower and foster children along life’s journey. I seek opportunities that will develop a legion of legendary learners that will increase human capital. My belief is that every person is an asset and has the potential to impact the world.
