I have over 20 years of experience teaching very difficult skills and subjects, and I use this experience to help struggling LSAT students understand how to pick the one clearly correct answer on each problem. Once you master the LSAT, you will stop scratching your head at two answers that "both appear right" - there is a reason why one answer is right and the other is wrong, and I can teach you simple methods for solving every LSAT problem with confidence.
I work in professional conference rooms (not Starbucks!) so that we can study without distractions. My office is near 635 and the Tollway; I can also meet you at an office in Bedford near Central and 183.
If we work with each other, I will craft an individual tutoring plan to structure your self-study and to guide the flow of our lessons. Please note that I will want to make sure that I am actually able to help you in the time frame you're willing to commit to before signing on to be your tutor. I become personally invested in the success of every student I work with.
What I expect from you:
Commitment and follow-through. If you really want to conquer the LSAT, if you really want to be on top of your game, and if you're really willing to put forth the effort that it takes, call me. After we meet the first time, we'll set out a study plan for you to follow between lessons. I expect you to prioritize, to ask any questions that come to you, and to work diligently.
What you should expect from me:
Expert insight, especially on the logic games, and practical teaching. I will be patient with you and target our approaches to your learning style. Unlike a Kaplan or Princeton review program, I will stay at or just slightly above your level at all times. My methods are time-tested and simple, unlike most of the commercial providers' methods.
