Hello, my name is Mitchell and I love teaching. I am an active substitute teacher and taught for 3 years in Japan. I'm great at adapting lessons to the student. I was one of the most popular teachers at both of my schools because I really got to know the students. I particularly excel with young learners. Some of my best friends are still in kindergarten!

While I do have formal training as a certified teacher from my previous jobs, I think the most important thing a tutor needs is a good rapport with their student. It's something that can't be taught, and is instead the result of lots of practice on the part of the tutor. Try me, you won't regret it!

I majored in Japanese in college, then moved on to live in Japan for 4 years with my wife. I still read Japanese manga to keep my skills up. I've also passed the JLPT level 2.

SAT Math

The SAT doesn't have to be hard, especially if you study a little! With 10-20 hours of tutoring, you can improve you score noticeably. With me you will practice good test-taking techniques, review math areas you need help in, and then work with lots of practice problems taking from past SAT tests.

TOEFL
