Owned and taught in my Bilingual nursery school, Jardin Americano, in Guatemala for children ages 3-6. Taught in private, bilingual elementary schools such as the American Schools in Guatemala City and Bahia, Brazil. I especially loved teaching Reading in Louisiana to non-English speakers in Middle School (6-8 grades).
In Guatemala I taught pre-school and elementary school ESL/ESOL for 4 years. In Illinois, I taught high school ESL for two years where most of the students were Latin Americans. I also taught ESL/ESOL in a New Orleans middle school specializing in ESL Reading and at Delgado Junior College where I taught three semesters ESL to non-English speaking adult students who came from such diverse places as Latin America, Saudi Arabia, China and Europe.
The reading tutorial I especially love to deliver is for the ESL/ESOL student who is in the initial stages of learning how to read in English for comprehension.
Over the years, I have collected appropriate reading material for this level that I share with my students in a step-by-step manner building on a strong foundation.
I want my students to quickly gain skills in Spanish that impress the people who matter most to them such as their teachers, bosses, employees, clients, patients, family, friends, colleagues or simply the general public.
After years of teaching in Central America and the USA, I developed a practical way to teach my students ALL the rules to pronouncing and reading flawless Spanish in ONE Easy Lesson.
Who will benefit?
For starters, FIRST RESPONDERS (fire fighters, police, paramedics, doctors, nurses) and many others such as business owners, tourists, teachers and students.
Although I hope you will be my student (online or in person) for a longer time, I know with certainty what my One Hour Easy Spanish can do for you. Not only will you INSTANTLY look smart by pronouncing and reading Spanish correctly, but you will also gain your listeners' respect because you cared enough to learn it.
Over the years, I have collected appropriate materials which I share with my students in a step-by-step manner for them to practice before they take their TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).
