I have tutored two of my three sons and other various students from different educational backgrounds at both the undergraduate and graduate school levels during the past five years. In addition, I've instructed and trained new employees at my firm for 20+ years.
My work experience included being a chief financial officer of an public corporation for over twenty-five years and previously a corporate controller. I was involved in training young accountants on the process from journal entries and sub ledgers to financial statement report preparation.
I have experience in the securities, real estate, hotel and restaurants and light manufacturing industries. I also have bankruptcy experience and have worked with numerous attorneys.
I am a CPA with a vast knowledge in both financial and managerial accounting along with Finance. I can (and have) tutor both subjects equally as well. I enjoy sharing my extensive knowledge with others and look forward to getting students where they need to be grade and knowledge-wise. I have no doubt in my mind that I can do this because it's been my job for 20+ years. I work with my students to save time and money via email, text, document share and other methods. I can work remotely just as easily as in person. Location and time is not an issue within reason. We'll make it work.
