I enjoy tutoring math mostly, as I plan to become a math instructor. I believe a big key to success in math is recognizing and understanding the terminology, as well as finding a way for students to comprehend and even embrace the processes they are attempting to follow. I know that everyone hears how math is the basis for most of what we see and hear, but mathematics class is about seeing the process written down on paper, which seems to be the intimidating part.
I have four years tutoring experience, community college and younger students, and have a level II college reading and learning association certification. I am also currently seeking a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies at UTD, and currently returned to Starbucks Coffee as a Barista.
