Hola! My name is Kellee and I would be delighted to help you or your struggling student with any level of Spanish, including preparing for the AP exam. I am a fluent speaker, reader and writer of Spanish who possesses a profound understanding of the foreign language teaching methodologies. I hold a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from Southern Methodist University and I am a candidate for the Master's in Spanish at University of Texas-Arlington. I have taught Spanish for 4 years at a prestigious North Dallas private school, worked freelance as a translator/interpreter for five years, and have successfully guided many students from difficulty in to mastery of Spanish grammar, as well as increased fluency and authentic discourse. I pride myself on my ability to help failing students become shining, confident students of Spanish. My strategy involves assessing the unique needs and learning styles of each of my students and customizing a plan based on these needs and their individual objectives. An excellent tutor is a careful listener and, furthermore, understands that no two students learn exactly the same. Selecting a tutor among so many can be a difficult decision - I know because I am a mother, too!
