Passionate Bilingual Educator Setting Students Up for Success

I hold a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.E. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I have nineteen years of classroom experience and have taught a myriad of subjects and grade levels in both monolingual and bilingual settings from kindergarten through high school. I have tutored students from Prekindergarten to adult learners in all subjects from reading, mathematics, science, social studies, writing, English, English as a Second Language, Spanish, and helping to prepare adults to take the G.E.D. I am enthusiastic, prompt, professional, and passionate about what I do. I always ensure that my clients are comfortable and provide debriefing sessions after tutoring to allow for me to provide the highest quality of service to the students I am privileged to serve.

I have been a teacher in the T.A.K.S. grade level exams for 9 years now and consistently achieve a student passing rate of 90% and above with a high percentage of students receiving commended performance. I know how to help a student decode the deductive reasoning that is inherent in this criterion referenced testing and set them up for success.
