Hi; My name is Thomas, sometimes known as Mr. T. I grew up in both South America and the USA. I have worked as a teacher for 3rd and 4th grades teaching math and language to deaf Spanish speaking children, and I have taken over High School Spanish and French classes to finish the semester due to the teacher's absence. I get along well with young people and children as well as adults. I also work as an English Spanish interpreter.
As far as teaching style; I am open to find what works for the student. I am flexible to work with a set curriculum or to choose a method that will allow the student to advance at his/her own pace while encouraging to reach and grasp more at a good rate. I have also found some tips along the way that can help with pronunciation and help students relax and learn. I learned to read phonetically and have had good success this way.
I also believe that my experience in the schools in South America have given me alternative ways of presenting materials and teaching styles. Also I am a firm believer that learning another language is also an education in itself.
