As a graduate level applied math major, I have a solid understanding of many types of math and their applications. My undergraduate coursework was also in math with a concentration on statistics and probability. I truly enjoy helping people increase their understanding of math. While this is my first time formally tutoring, I do have experience working in a group explaining mathematical concepts/topics to people. I have found that this is something I really enjoy doing. I have an undergraduate GPA of 3.7, and I am enrolled in my first graduate course this semester.
I am able to help students learn all types of math, including, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Logic/Set Theory, Analysis (proofs), Topology, Vector Analysis/Calculus, and others (just ask!). My main goal would be to make sure students understand the topic by giving supplemental instruction, working problems together, assigning relevant homework problems, and answering any questions students may have to the best of my ability. If requested, I can provide updates on progress made.
Since travel is an option for me, I do ask for at least 3 hours advanced notice for cancellations. Makeup sessions available for cancellations also.
I look forward to hearing from you to get scheduled to start learning.
