My name is Omar, and when it comes to tutoring I am your guy!
I graduated from Ranchview High School with a distinguished merit diploma as well as being member of the National Honor Society for my academic achievements and integrity. I'd like to tutor students who are currently in Middle/High school since it's a very important stage for any teenager, and it should be as easy as possible so they can have a clear mind in order to make the proper decisions for their future lives. Currently, I am a student at the University of Texas at Arlington majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
Surely the saying "Everybody learns at their own pace" comes to mind when studying certain subjects in school, but that is nothing more than a lousy perspective in my opinion. When I finished school I realized that the lessons I thought were difficult were actually in fact very simple. Sometimes school subjects are made more complicated than they should have been and I can help you view them as clear one-stem problems.
I have tutored friends in the field of Mathematics and Science. As well as I am part of a study group at college where everybody helps each other regardless the difficulty of the subject.
Personally, I prefer a "hands-on" teaching interaction between tutor and student so I can personally observe and help on the progress done on the specific subjects and what areas need to be reinforced.
