I am currently a PhD candidate at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. My field of research is in molecular genetics. I have an undergraduate degree in General Biology and a Master's in Conservation Genetics. I have also taught Cell Biology for two and half years and Anatomy and Physiology two semesters at Blinn College.
I feel that I am especially skilled in transitioning High School students from a curriculum designed for standardized testing to being capable of understanding and articulating complex scientific concepts on a higher level. I try to relate the abstract and intangible to everyday things students can relate to.
I am passionate about teaching and look forward to assisting you with your studies!
