I attribute any success in my education to my Latin teachers and my Classical languages college professor, Dr. Anderson. They instilled in me a passion for teaching others that has allowed me to raise 5 children to adulthood successfully.

I currently teach all levels of Latin at the secondary school level including Pre-AP and AP levels.

In addition, I have taught in the Homebound student program for 3 years. That program has been very rewarding for me personally. Working individually with these students has created a desire to tutor students beyond the traditional classroom environment.

The return on the investment of tutoring is very important. Latin based upon extensive academic research on SAT and ACT scores will boost scores at a level higher than any other language.

The cultural connection from the Greco-Roman cultures and our modern culture is very close which will help in other subjects and courses.

In my teaching career, I have taught high school classes in World History, World Geography and American Government.

In my corporate learning and development career at the director level, I have facilitated courses in leadership development, interpersonal communications, customer service, employee engagement and empowerment, tactical supervisory leadership, human relations, and management.
