Local High School Biology Teacher Ready to Save the Day!

Hello,

I am a high school biology teacher at Hebron High School, offering tutoring in Biology and study skills for the new high school student.

Whether your goal is getting your failing student to pass Biology or getting your pre-AP student to get the A you both want on that next report card, I can help! I have experience providing private tutoring for AP Biology students, regular Biology students, ESL students, and students with learning disabilities.

Since Biology is a freshman course, frequently the barrier to success isn't only mastering the content - it is also learning high-school level study skills for the first time. In addition to the time I spend with your student working on the content, I'll provide your student with a study plan to work on when I'm gone to ensure success. Learning these skills should help them in all of their high school classes.

I've also created fun online study games and online practice tests for my Hebron students that I will also provide to my Biology tutoring clients. Want to know if your student is getting it right when they study? Even if Biology is a total mystery to you, you can check on their progress online.

I was trained by Texas Teaching Fellows, a non-profit organization that specializes in training teachers to work with high-needs students. This included students across the spectrum of special education and ESL needs. I work with over 20 inclusion students each year, and am responsible for creating my school's accommodated and modified Biology tests.
