I have been teaching for 32 years and I love math. I have taught my own children (in eighth grade) and love to help students learn. Many students have difficulty in math because they don't "get it"...it hasn't been made personal to them. Many times a student needs the explanation in a different way or more than once. I have lots of patience and don't mind explaining things over and over. I have taught at the same school for the last 22 years and taught many students. Many students are working in jobs around town and see me all the time. They remember me and ask me, "Was I a "bad" student?" I remember their faces, but sometimes not their names, and I know they learned when they were in my class if they just applied themselves. I will help you too!
