Howdy, I am a student at Texas A&M University who has excelled in a variety of subjects and would like to eventually teach Math to high school students. I have worked hard to understand many subjects and have a good understanding of how to explain difficult concepts to students.
I worked as a tutor at San Jacinto Community College for a year and a supplemental instructor for Pre-Calculus for one semester before coming to A&M. I enjoy teaching students and being able to explain things in such a way that I can see a light bulb go off in their eyes when they finally catch on to the subject at hand.
My approach to tutoring involves about a one or two hour session once a week or every other week. The purpose of tutoring is to be a supplement to the teacher and to assist in filling in the blank spots for concepts, homework problems, and projects.
