Background:
I recently graduated from UT at Austin in August. I just received my B.A. in English and my B.S. in Mathematics, and I have a knack for explaining concepts in simple everyday language. I love it.

I've had 11 months of volunteer tutoring experience with Garza High School in Austin, Texas. I taught Math and English about 3 days out of each week through this period. I enjoyed watching their hard work payoff throughout the scholastic year. I love giving students the right hints when they are stuck, but I made a point of allowing them to solve the problems on their own in the end. Problem solving skills are much more important than the actual knowledge.
