As a mother of 4 children who has an elementary education background, it is my personal goal to help as many students as I can, reach their full potential with their education. Each student has his or her own personality and needs. The one-on- one tutoring I can offer will help your student excel in something he/she has been struggling with. This will also help with their confidence in other areas. Self esteem is very important in all aspects of one's development.

In addition to my elementary education background, I have worked as a teacher's aide assisting special needs children. Their special needs were emotional, physical or mental, each one needing help in different ways. I hope you will consider my services to help your child with his/her educational needs.

Swimming

As a competitive swimmer from the time I was 8 till the time I was 18, I have a great understanding of all the strokes, diving and flip-turns. I also coached one of the teams I was a part of for those 10 years.

Special Needs

As an aide in my children's school, I had the opportunities to work with special needs students one on one. Downs syndrome, paraplegic, and emotional issues were among my students. I had learned some basic sign language but would need a refresher if this would be something you would also need during the tutoring.

Public Speaking

As a past President of the American Marketing Association at my college, I have had plenty of opportunities to be a public speaker. I have also had many classes myself to help prepare and encourage good mannerisms for public speaking.
