I love both shooting AND the creative aspects that come into play once the image has been captured. I have been a photographer for nine years and a user of Photoshop for almost as long. I have recently become proficient in Lightroom as well.

For a semester, I interned alongside Griff Smith, the photo editor at Texas Highways magazine while acquiring my Master's degree from University of Texas at Austin. I was also a teaching assistant for four semesters at UT for a photojournalism class. I will also be teaching that same class as an adjunct professor this fall.

For two years, I have been a Big Brother mentor for a 15-year-old, Steven. I have tutored 6th grade reading and 8th grade math, and taught private photography lessons to all ages when I shot on a dude ranch in Colorado.

I first like to understand each student's ability level and desires before heading in a particular direction. I really enjoy watching the wheels turn and eyes light up when things start to click.

Very knowledgeable and clear — I was thrilled with my first lesson with Sean. He is well versed in Lightroom and taught me many valuable tips that I'm already putting to use. I can't wait for our next session. Things went so well that I'm already planning on moving on to lessons in Photoshop once we've completed Lightroom. ...
