Are you looking for a nurturing, knowledgeable and mature tutor? I'm an on campus math tutor at AISD Webb Middle School and Substitute Teacher at KIPP and AISD elementary, middle and high schools. I privately tutor all subjects in elementary and middle and primarily in the sciences and math at the high school level.

Considered Highly Qualified by the No Child Left Behind Act, I am becoming certified as a middle school math/science teacher. I have learned many successful strategies to reach children with ADD/ADHD and to teach unsuccessful readers to reading mastery. I hold Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degrees, practiced for many years as a chiropractor in Florida and now am giving back to our future leaders by tutoring and teaching.

Study Skills is the subject of organizing material into a logical sequential manner to learn, review and study for exams. It is also a variety of techniques for memorizing material and locating it to review. My qualifications for tutoring study skills are my successful completion of a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a B.S. degree as well as tutoring in AVID Advancement Via Individual Determination at Austin ISD. I tutor study skills in AVID, often utilizing the Socratic method.
