Hello to all parents and students! I am a graduate of Concordia University Texas and I have my bachelor's degree in mathematics. I actually tutored there at Concordia while attending classes for one semester so that was fun and I was able to meet and help out new people. I also do some tutoring at my church on Wednesday nights for some of the kids and youth. I really like to create a very casual and comfortable learning atmosphere and when I'm unsure about something I am not afraid to say, "I'm not sure, let me double check." Also, I feel that I am unlike other tutors since I can actually relate to students struggling in math because I once did too and I have pretty sad memories of going home and crying about not understanding fractions and other things being taught at the elementary school level. I remember having a teacher read my bad grades out loud to the class all the time and so I feel that I can go down to any level to explain something that a student just can't understand and I can work at their speed to help them improve. Right now, I am only available to tutor pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, and all math at the elementary and middle school level. Thank you for your consideration. :)
