Hi, I'm Chris and I'm a chess teacher.
I've loved chess since my father taught me the moves some forty years ago, and I've been playing chess ever since.
In these one-on-one or group lessons, we'll look at tactical ideas to help you improve your problem-solving skills, as well as instructive games to improve your understanding of chess.
These are all progressive lessons where each one builds on the ones before. Whether you're just starting out and learning the moves, or you are a seasoned tournament veteran, I can help you to improve your game and to have fun doing it.
I'm an experienced, patient and expert chess teacher, and I'm available for coaching, group and individual instruction. All skill levels up to expert. In person or online. Kids are welcome!
I'm a United States Chess Federation expert rated chess player with more than three years of experience teaching chess online and in person. I give progressive lessons where each one builds on the ones before. I encourage my students to play, and we go over recently played games to learn more.
