I've been tutoring high school and college level students for five years in the following subjects: English, history, theology, philosophy, writing skills, and mathematics. I've taught after school programs in English and SAT Prep. I also hold a MA in philosophy and have taught it on the college level as an adjunct professor.
Aside from listing my experience, I should say that I really enjoy tutoring and working with students one-on-one. Students I've worked with in the past have noted that I'm just as good at listening to them as I am at explaining things. This is because I believe learning is a dialectic process. And, simply put, I take pleasure in helping people along that process.
