Music Theory

I only teach the parts of music theory that sticks to what you would need know to do things like

-Improvise vocally-(pop or bel canto)
-Improvise on the piano-(only pop)

If you're planning on being a professional classical musician or a theory professor, then I'm not qualified to teach that. If you want to know how to sit at a piano and be able to make up good sounding melodies/chords on the spot, then I can help you.

Sight Singing

I have been sight-reading since the age of 12 and have been tutoring students in sight-reading for over 5 years now. I've been able to help students go from struggling to match a single pitch to sight-reading major choral works! A lot of that had to do with the student doing the exercises and being persistent, and a little bit of that had to do with all the work I put learning ear training skills and sight-reading skills.
