Hello prospective students! Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
I am currently a full-time multimedia assistant for a major water utility, and freelance as a design consultant and professional photographer. I am also a communications graduate student at UT Arlington, and enjoy taking continuing education courses in design and photography to improve my skill set. I work in MS Office and Adobe all day long at my regular job and for fun on the weekends, so I feel confident I can help you with whatever questions you may have.
I have been working in Adobe Photoshop since I was fourteen. I have over two years' professional experience using this program to edit professional photos, design pieces for print, and create web elements. I have four continuing education certifications in Adobe Photoshop: Levels I & II from New Horizons Computer Learning Center, and Advanced Photoshop for Photographers and Advanced Photoshop for Designers from UT Arlington's Continuing Education department. Whether you need just a little extra help or intensive tutoring, I am definitely a great resource for you.
If you're a photographer (just-for-fun or professional), I can help you edit photos in Camera RAW, sort them in Adobe Bridge, and make non-destructive adjustments in Photoshop. Plus, I know many different actions and shortcuts to help you get the look and feel you desire.
Perhaps you're having trouble with Microsoft's new version of Office. I work in multiple versions (2007, 2010, and 2013) on different computers so I am very familiar with how to navigate in Office, and how the menus have changed across new editions. I spend a good portion of my time at my regular job working in PowerPoint and Word, and with just a little bit of practice, you can learn how to use both programs quickly and efficiently.
Whatever you need help with, just ask! I'm laid-back, easy to get along with, and very-well versed in these programs.
