My goal is always to help my students understand the concepts they are struggling with, not to simply hand them answers.
I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics, and am currently 3 years into the PhD program at my university. I have quite a bit of experience explaining mathematical concepts to both undergraduates and high school students, in addition to showing them examples and helping them work through homework problems.
For two years, while earning my bachelor's degree, I tutored in the math department's math clinic, helping students with any concepts and exercises that they were having trouble with. Once in graduate school, I spent two years as a teaching assistant for calculus classes, and then spent a year helping out in a high school geometry classroom as part of the GK12 program.
I am available for both in-person sessions and online sessions, and any notes I make during a session (online or in person) will be made available to you.
