I have always excelled in Mathematics and Physics during Middle and High School, so much so that in senior year of High School, I earned a gold medal for honours in Higher Mathematics and bronze for honours in College Level Physics. I am also a Senior at the University of Rochester, studying Chemical Engineering as a major and Japanese as a minor. The reason I am currently in Texas for at least another year is due to family circumstances, as well as a possible interest in transferring to a college around here.
As far as my tutoring experience is concerned, I have taught multiple middle and high school students over the past 5 years in various subjects which include, but are not limited to, physics, mathematics, chemistry, and economics. I have a way with not just teaching but mentoring my students, seeing them as past versions of myself. My title is also quite self-explanatory about my general attitude toward teaching. It should be noted that the title was inspired by my mother, who has been teacher trainer and educator for nearly 21 outstanding years at a very prestigious school abroad.
During tutoring hours, I do not hesitate to share my extraordinary life experiences with my students, as I am sure it lights a fire of passion within them to strive for excellence. Note that I said excellence, not success. There is a saying back home that one should strive for excellence, not success, because once excellence is achieved, success follows automatically. I guarantee my prospective students' parents and guardians that their investment in my tutoring abilities will bear fruit with flying colours.
