Music tutor, sub taught in elem k-6,math, reading, writing, etc

I have been in music, singing for over 35 years. I have a BA from PLNC and Masters from SMU in music, voice performance. I have also sung with the Dallas Opera Chorus for 12 seasons. I have led one day seminars giving young children a taste of the beginning ideas of what it takes to sing and sing well. I teach private voice lessons as my main subject. In other subjects, I have also been a substitute teacher for the Garland ISD. I feel I can teach elementary age math up to algebra 1, well. I had my own son fully reading before he went into kindergarten. Creative writing has always been a hobby of mine.

Elementary (K-6th)

I graduated high school with a 3.61 GPA with honors. I was often a teachers assistant, especially in Pre Algebra/Algebra I. In undergrad and graduate school, I held over a 3.0 GPA. General Music

Both my undergrad and graduate degrees are in Music. I have gone through all the ear training, theory, composition/counterpoint, music history and pedagogy classes expected for the general music degree. I have also taken piano lessons and proficiency exams for that instrument. With the text book for general music course work, I am confident I would be very able to teach or instruct in general music

Voice (Music)

I have a BA from PLNC 1984 and Masters from SMU 1987, I am a lyric mezzo who has studied with a contralto, mezzo, and metropolitan opera tenor, i have sung 12 seasons with the Dallas Opera Chorus and for local churches, in a 30-40 min lesson weekly a voice student of mine will be vocalized singing music pattern to warm up the voice then we will either work on music of their choice and or music that will help train and strengthen the voice for certain personal goals.
