I graduated Cum Laude in 2012 from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. The emphasis of study in my program was Microbiology and Cell Physiology. I am now pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and would like to work with those who are affected by chronic sickness, learning disabilities, and abuse.
I have tutored cumulatively for more than four years. My first experience as a tutor was working primarily with students who had great potential, but were unable to express it because of a learning disorder that stood in their way. I deeply enjoyed playing a part in helping these students live above stigmas and exhibit the potential they had all along. Since then I have tutored at second grade up to the collegiate level in biology, psychology, elementary arithmetic, study skills, physiology, and various other science courses. Biology and psychology are my favorite things to teach. The human mind and body are beyond amazing, and I love to help make these subjects easy and exciting to understand.
My day always starts with coffee and a bible followed (hopefully) with a good workout. When I have spare time I like to play chess, sudoku, and read. I also enjoy geocaching, hiking, rock-climbing, playing my guitar, singing, writing music, and hanging out with my wife and friends.
